「宇宙大型アレイアンテナとその応用」

宇宙太陽光発電衛星に用いる大型構造物として，展開トラス構造物の研究開発を進めてきた．この構造方式は，シンプル/軽量で組立に高度な装置を必要とせず，数kmに及ぶ大型構造物を自動で軌道上に構築できる．現在は地上実証をほぼ終えた段階であるが，この技術により，これまでにない宇宙機を実現できる可能性がある．本論文では，展開トラス構造物の技術を用いたレーダ衛星の可能性，及び現在検討を進めている次世代降水レーダ衛星について概要を報告する．

As a structure of solar power satellite, the deployable truss structure has been developed. It’s almost at the stage when ground test is almost finished now. This technology has the potential to realize some kind of spacecraft which has never existed before. This paper reports that an outline of the next generation precipitation radar satellite which using the technology of the deployable truss structure.
